there are regular flight from Gatwick to Izmir with www.ba.com these are very spacious flight and 99% on time great for winter rentals and prices start around £80 one way,during the summer months (may to oct) you can use charter flight,these are normally cheeper but not as spacious,these flights fly to Bodrum Airport which is closer to didim.We have recently found that lufthansa has very good deals via Germany.

other companys worth looking at for flights are Pegasus Airlines,Thomas Cook,Thomson,Turkish Airlines,Onurair,Saga

and the airports that you need to fly to are (summer) Bodrum (winter)Izmir

Transfer from Bodrum Airport To Altinkum : 1 hour 15 minutes
Transfer from Izmir Airport To Altinkum : 1 hour 45 minutes
Transfer from Dalaman Airport To Altinkum : 5 or 6 hours
If you are already in Turkey and would like to visit Altinkum, you need to travel Aydin City, Kusadasi Town, or Soke Town. From these locations you will find minibuses running on schedule to Altinkum. ( or you may see as Didim )
